absence makes the heart grow fonder... well, let's hope. it seems i've been distracted by life for a spell now, and have not taken the time to add more than a few posts to the 'lab since July.

my appologies to all, please know that i'm working on adding some more work tonight, and will have more time throughout this week and next to post new artists and fill in more about the awesome happenings in the mighty mugg world.

speaking of which, i've been in touch with a teacher, Mr. Cook, of Houston, TX, who teaches Art at Reagan High School. he has had the brilliant idea of holding a mighty mugg art competition for his students, which will be held in January. there will be three judges from the school, and Mr. cook has asked that i serve as the guest judge (which i am thrilled at the thought of!). for more information, and to follow the students progress, click the picture below.























And, for all of you that missed it, Lucas Ltd. and the Make a Wish Foundation got together and came up with an awesome concept for a fundraiser, which also saw alot of exposure at the SDCC this year. THEEMPIREMUGGSBACK is the name of the fundraiser, which ended last weeked, and rasier boo-coodles of mulah for a rgeat cause. Several of the artists have sent their work to be displayed on Mugglab, the first of which to hit the 'lab is Denise Vaquez. Keep an eye out for more of the fundraiser artist's work, as well as a new section just for all the work that was in the show. click picture below to link there:
